The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga as a member of the CAF U-20 African Championship Organising Committee.
Kamanga was appointed on October 3, 2016 ahead of the 20th edition of the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Zambia from February 26 to March 12, 2017.
Announcing the appointment, CAF Secretary General Hicham El Amrani has congratulated Kamanga for his appointment.
“We are very pleased to inform you that you have been designated as a member of CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations Organizing Committee. Please accept our congratulations on this appointment.
“We wish you success and enjoyment in your current and future activities for CAF and we are looking forward to your constructive cooperation,” El Amrani said in a communique addressed to the FAZ president made available to Zambian Eye.
